The last journal I made was a very very long time ago, and I made it to outline what was allowed in this group as we were having some trouble with people not following the rules. I warned I would turn on the approval process on submissions if this did not stop the problem, but luckily it did not come to that as people then seemed to follow the rules.

Lads, just because the last journal was written a long time ago DOES NOT mean I don't check this group regularly. I check EVERY single submission and new contributor. Generally I skim past submissions by familiar users as I know they have never broken rules but if you are new I check ALL your submissions.

However, in the last few months, people seem to be breaking the rules more and more frequently so I feel the need to make this journal.

This is the biggest rule of the group and one that is the most commonly broken;

This group is ONLY open to submissions to users from Ireland.

If you are from America, Germany, wherever, then DO NOT submit as I WILL remove your art from the group.
If your art is Ireland themed, that does NOT matter. The group is not about Ireland themed anime art. It is about Irish anime ARTISTS.
People have called me "racist" for informing them of this rule because they have not bothered reading the rules, but it's not me trying to exclude people. The entire reason I created this group was to add a community feel on dA for the Irish anime scene in Ireland so people would get to know each other. It's not about exclusion, it's about trying to create a familiar community. It's hard to find fellow artists in Ireland so this is a way to bring them all together.

To clarify though, if you were born abroad and are currently living in Ireland, then it is perfectly fine to submit.

HOWEVER, if not, it is perfectly fine to join as a member. That's absolutely a-ok! Please just do not submit to the gallery.

If you are from abroad and wish to submit Ireland themed art, then please join these groups instead;



Apart from that, the general rules are:

- Anime/manga related fan art
- Anime/manga related original art
- Cosplay
- Anime/manga related fan fiction
- ANYTHING that is related to SOME form of anime/manga

* Any medium is acceptable, traditional, digital, whatever, just so long as it is relatable to anime or manga.
* NO ANIME SCREENSHOTS OR TRACED WORK. If you submit them, I will remove them and personally report them to the deviantart staff.

I hope that clears things up.

Again, if this does not solve the problem, then I WILL be turning on submission approval and I sure don't want to have to spend time doing that, and I'm sure none of you want that to happen.
